 Our pet snake, Homer. My wife and I acquired him just before we were married back in 1990. He was recently diagnosed with several bone tumors, and so we had him put to sleep.

He spent most of his time in our kids' classrooms, where he delighted many with his skin shedding, lovely colors, amenable personality (for a snake), and, for the brave, his mice-eating.

He was one great snake!

What a pretty snake! I love the detail of texure and color in his scales. (Never though I'd be praising the beauty of a snake... :)
