I think there is a chick in the photo, but resolution of the old lens was not good enough to definitely say it was not a limb.
This was done with an Astro Berlin 640mm f5 lens, made in the late 50's for 2 1/4 film, or 35mm movie filming. I put a "T" mount on it for use with Nikon, Canon or any camera.
The glass is very crunchy in it, but at f8 or so it does ok. It's fun to use.
