Hello from the Critique club
An appealing image that partially meets the challenge
What a wonderful array of pins, staples, screws and nails it makes for a great study especially against the lovely texture of the wood. By choosing to introduce a diagonal to the image you have sort of met part of the challenge but I do not get any sense of unease because the image is too compact and has no external reference points such as a horizon. I think you missed an opportunity here to go in very close with a wide angle lens so that you could emphasise all these interesting features but also include the receding pole at an angle together, probably, with some horizon too this would I think have been a lot nearer the challenge brief. As regards the whites they look blown and once that has happened there simply is no data to do anything with, do try to avoid blowing the highlights with some minus exposure compensation.
Thank you for your interesting entry Camelia |

I have one of these on my street. I love it, but for me, this is more of a macro abstract than a dutch angle. |
