 Pileated Woodpecker, working on a tree in my front yard.
I didn't have time to get out a big camera and change lenses, so I just grabbed the P&S and got the shot before it vanished.
Not edited except resize.
Canon SX 510 HS @ 120mm.

That looks quite big and colourful and I suppose it's pretty noisy too. Even the small woodpeckers we see over here are noisy.
