 A fine Bighorn ram on Castle Mountain, overlooking his flock. This is a full curl ram of about 12 years age. He was supervising 20 or so females and yearlings. This guy was in total control. At his age, this is his prime time and apex of his life span. 01/06/16 1:05PM MST. Canon EOS 5DmkIII, Canon EF400mm f/5.6L USM, 1/1000s @ f/5.6, ISO 200, lens focal length 400mm.

That bright sun seems a bit harsh. Casting hard shadows on the leader. Must be dangerous getting close to these guys though.
