 Masked out cat
Curves to brighten whites and midtones
Hue/Sat to make increase red/yellow saturation
Added Orange overlay layer to change color to orange
Added layer to burn stripes
Liquify to fatten cat
Add lasagna
Created tablecloth
Cloned and painted the stains onto the tablecloth (lots of trial and error)
Added overlay layer to stain cats mouth and paws
Created shadows for lasagna and cat
Mask subject
Selection from mask
Copy and past to new layer
Fill selection with black
Move selection in direction of shadow
Arrange layer to before item being shadowed
Reduce opacity to 15-20%

Thanks! I must say, when I first looked at the photo, I thought, "What the hell to I do with that!". It took a little time (I did have to cook a lasagna for supper), but it is one of the two I liked best from the challenge. I'm glad you liked it too.
