A visit from the Critique Club :)
Interesting photo indeed. I like these types of photos where you have many similar/identical objects with one or several that are "misplaced".
Interesting composition but there are 2 things that bug me a little bit. The marbles do not fill up the whole frame, it seems that this photo would work better if the marbles filled up everything in the background. Even if you ran out of marbles angling the camera would have been sufficient. The other thing that I don't particularly like is the way that blue square is just "floating" above the marbles.
Having said that, I like the idea, I like the colors and the focus is good. I also like how you blurred the background with good use of the aperture. |

This is a very cool idea and well executed.
The colors of the marbles and the blue block are great. Good lighting and exposure. I love it how the choice of dof fades the marbles into the background.
This calmes me down, it is very pleasent to look at. |

Technical: Excellent DOF. Bottom-left a little dark?
Meets challenge: Yes
Overall impression: The bottom-left darkness lets it down slightly from being a stunning pic. 8 |

| Wow! How'd you do that? It looks great. The floating effect is really intersting and the square stands out nicely. It'd be good to get a bit more light on the marbles. The lower left seems a tad dark |

| I like how you used the blue square and using the different color to bring the focus to it. I think you should have used more of a swuare in your picture and have more focus onto it. Nice work |

| I like this a lot. Like dof, like almost clear marbles (only a touch of color) with bright blue cube on top. |

| Nice job, one of my favorites this week. The blue square would have made a great shot by itself but the marbles are a stroke of genius. I like the lighting as well. Is it from the top or the bottom? |
