 I have a ton of butterflies in my yard, so I was sure there was a mantis somewhere. Found her. Eating a Hummingbird Moth! I hate it when they eat the pretty bugs :-(

Kind of like the double framing - overall by the branches, and then the mantis head framed by the wings of the doomed moth.

Hmm. On my new tablet this looks eye-bleedingly saturated. I hope the tablet is lying to me.

PP - converted from RAW, cropped, levels, Nik CEP (darken/lighten center, classical soft focus), increased saturation on old flower head, Viveza to lighten/structure on head, resized, Nik Sharpen, blurred old flowerhead and nearby vegetation.
