I finished voting but missed turnover for ribbons. This image got a 10 from me right away and now I give it the Almost Blue.

this appears to me way more mysterious than a boy showing the way to a driver, as I can almost see strings holding is arms making him do things he would otherwise avoid. I further suspect those strings are tied to a yellow balloon:

I really enjoy your choice of black and white. It turns the image into a story piece instead of just a portrait which creates intrigue for the viewer. For me, i think that the image is in the muddy middle of being a little too blurry. Whether its not sharp enough, or not blurry enough to create a more abstract image. Regardless its an interesting image. good luck!

Interesting scene and nice b&w. Bringing the puppet into the frame was a nice touch. Well done!
