 This photo exhibits many of my strengths and weaknesses.

- One of my favorite subjects to photograph is birds.

- I also love photographing my pets. This is Allegra, one of my four chickens.

- My favorite crop is square.

- [I prefer B/W, but this needed color.]

- My photos tend to be overly technical with little emotional impact, though sometimes I accidentally take one that "works". Emotional impact is what I need to work on most, and I admit this has virtually none.

- I have fun coming up with clever/funny titles. Alas, I didn't think of "I laid an egg, man!" until after the challenge started. Allegra is young, and I think she actually laid her first egg during the challenge. And so did this entry... :-)
