Excellent catch! Bird shots generally don't hold my attention but I've been here a while. Thanks

Wonderful timing with your capture. The wings look very angelic.

The idea is there in terms of the theme, but I find that the subject matter is just too tightly cropped at the top and having the embankment just finding it's way into the frame doesn't do the image any justice

Lovely, and beautifully processed.

Symmetry interrupted. I know this subject/reflection motif is not uncommon. But here, the monochrome processing (even the subtle shift to cooler tones in the water), the frame aspect and the amount of distortion in the water come together in a way that makes this stand out as an exemplar. Nice.

Beautiful! This would be so much less with the distractions of color. Wonderful lighting, exposure, and tack sharp. This should be hanging in a gallery.

Nice capture and lovely image treatment. You've purposefully chosen the crop and I respect that, but my preference would have been for more off the left right to turn it into a traditional portrait composition. But perhaps I'm boring like that.

eta: my other left, that is.
