 Buskers on Grafton Street, Dublin, Ireland.

I have seen them before and they are really good. I coudn't find them the previous weekend but got lucky this weekend. They play 60's and 70's rock and they play with a lot of passion.

It was rather dark and gloomy and I didn't want to use flash at all.
Shot with Nikkor 50mm 1.8 AF lens.

Processing:
- Cropped
- Increased contrast with Curves
- Slightly adjusted Hue/Saturation
- Resampled
- Applied Unsharp Mask

I almost never disagree with how the DPC voters rate a photo, but they underrated this one by a wide margin. This is an outstanding shot.

I like the high contrast here, and the expression on the guys face is awesome! Very nice journalistic feel to this.

Well a little too burned in the background... but i still like it and am a sucker for busking images.... nice.... great compisition saturation.. high contrast but i think it works. i like the uninterested old man in the background.

Very nice shot mainly because of the singing dude with popping veins versus the zen like demeanor of the second member. Deeper into zen is the elderly gentlemen. A good performing shot. 7
