Composition-content
I like the cube that you have used, I love the ornate design. The way that you have positioned it is good, with the different lighting and colours on either side of the cube is good. I think that I would have liked to see more of the reflection, perhaps the overall image would have more impact with it, I feel that though the cube is interesting, another element would have added more interest. That element could either be more refelction or another object.
Background
I love the perfectly black background, which really sets of the colours and textures of the cube.
Technical
Focus looks spot on, with good DOF. Probably the strongest point of this picture is the lighting, I like the different shades of light hitting the cube, which adds more dimension to the whole image. i wonder if a tiny bit more sharpening would have been good, but would like to see it first!
My Opinion
I really like the reflection, the lighting is great and the designs on the cube are beautiful. Good Luck in the next challenge |

| Different. The colored light on one side helps make it a little better in terms of lighting, but I think that the mirror is too much. I don't like the blurred effect on the mirror at all. - Inspzil |

| Nice use of incandescance - I always thrive to eliminate it in my pics! IMHO, this type of shot should be dead centred. Perfect focus though. Would make a great abstract poster for a living room or something...8 |
