I don't expect this entry to do that well as I have not tried to emulated Mary Ellen Mark's extraordinary ability to portray societal life. It is more a celebration of her amazing work with reference to of course the below image in particular.
In combining my two greatest passions, social ethnography and photography, I find her work truly inspirational.
I would love some feedback on how I could have improved this image. This is what I did in post-processing.

Arna Marie, I think that is the beautiful tribute to Mary Ellen Mark! It does loose some points from being smaller than the contenders.
