This is an appealing image. It is a simple, uncluttered composition, yet shows depth and some intrigue.
The geometric lines on the window give a strongly graphic feel to it. My eyes are drawn right to the subject because of the dark/black surroundings.
The "view" is contorted and very interesting. The lines are somewhat fluid and enable the imagination to wander.
The monochromatic hues work very well here and the contrast is very good.
The angle from which you shot, shows some depth in the casement. (I think that's what it's called.)
Overall this is a very nice work.

Very interesting swirly patterns. I'm not quite sure what it adds to the image as a whole. The darkness of the foreground makes the photo a bit flat. |

While I would have loved to have been able to see more of the window frame, I still like the shot a lot. Even the manipulation of the trees in the window work for me, giving it kind of a semi-abstract look that fits the shot. |

This is a nice effect. I would assume that those are glass blocks and that there was no computer invovled or any special effect. :-) |

This is the type of pic. I like! Simplistic in nature, yet very creative. Thank you for not shooting it straight on, the slight angle really adds to the overall image. (9) John Gill |
