Funny. I have had a lots of success selling my prints to galleries and local newspapers, and have yet to recieve an overall vote of 6. Personally, I think this is a very interesting photo. A photo being interesting or not generally does not mean it should be hangable or printable. I have seen many ugly photos hanging on walls.

What it boils down to in this case, and in most cases on this site is, whatever the 'voters' taste or mood is when voting, determines the vote.

This should have been in the 5 to 6 average range.

More "actual lines" than anything implied in my opinion. Your coloring also seems to be a little muted and flat to me, making the shot a little uninteresting.
