A straight up landscape. Good one too.

An interesting architectural shot. Not exactly what I think of as a landscape, but I guess if you're in a city, palm trees by the pool have to suffice. Try this shot again in a future challenge geared toward buildings, architecture, geometry, etc. I think you could turn this view into a pretty great shot.

well done for avoiding converged verticals, seriously skilled!

Nice find. I like the composition you chose and the tall black building walls wonderfully framed and gave perspective to the little (palm?) trees. I really enjoyed this image.

The attraction of parallels and perpendiculars - I might like it more without any sky at the top.

Too bad you couldn't have somehow worked this into the concurrent 'Abstract in Green' challenge because it features an admirable abstract quality softened by that almost invisible oasis. Talented framing effectively draws the eye down to the point of interest and defies the Rule of Thirds. I think you may have been able to crop out the top sky with no harm done to the vision of this image. This is a compelling photo for this challenge accurately defined by the title. Nice work. Good luck.

Literal and deceivingly abstract at the same time. Very nice!
