To explain my black and white choice: The rocks are red, water is blue, with them out of focus it was an ugly mess. I wanted the home and housed in focus and the rest not, so I opted for a glimmering trail of contrast instead of a blurry color blob.

I like it more from a distance, actually, despite the intimacy of the embrace.

I gave out two 9's in this challenge ... one of them went to this entry of yours. I guess being a parent it was easy to connect to your choice here. The B&W was an excellent decision IMO.

aweeee whoever can not relate a child wrapping their arms around a parent is beyond me. it seems you captured a special moment. Not sure about the black and white seems almost too dark, because the background seems to disappear from me. I am wanting to see what they were looking at.

This is really sweet, and a lovely interpretation. They're so small against the vast expanse beyond, but so very sure in each other, too.
