This small structure looks like a toll booth on the road that the new thruway has made redundant. It's being overtaken by vegetation, of which that in the foreground is menacingly approaching. This adds depth of space and time. It's a nicely seen tiny mystery, due to become only more hidden and exotic.

That branch really pulls my eye away instead of leading me to the building.

Having to visually work through the tendrils of the vegetation to get to the unkempt, neglected building is captured perfectly with the title.

I make a complimentary nod to converting this busy image to B&W. Usually when I try to turn heavy vegetation to B&W all I get is mud! The remarkable tonal range identifies every little leaf and chip of paint.

It appears that you are shooting into the sun, but you have that under control, too.

Your interpretation of the challenge is to be applauded.

Well done.
