A very small and very old cottage for the fisherman to hold his nets and other fishing stuff. You can also stay there for a short period. Cloudy, windy, gray day but rather good photography weather.

Sorry, I was accidentally cut off. To continue:

Compositionally a lovely placement of elements in the scene. We have an interesting angle. Nice details.

I would like to see more colors in the image. More saturation.

Also maybe not cut the top of the frame.

And best if you can include some life in the picture. A person perhaps in the window?

I love the wood on this old home. Where is this place? The wood is so beautifully weathered. I would love to see the whole home. This is so well done, it looks like I'm there in person. Would make a wonderful painting. Fantastic job.

Nice textures and composition. After voting on over half the photos now, though, I've seen a lot of windows like this one!

Beautifully rustic!

My first thought is that it looks odd to see those things in the window of this old building. I'm glad that the shot is in pretty good focus, I like the look of the old wood and the details of the old window.

old things, erosion, are compelling. makes me wish you were just a little bit closer. the knick-knacks are fine but not necessary, more compelling would be a close up with age's details. even if it was just a corner of the window. nice though, you did good.

it's always a pleasure for me to see something that's obiously from sweden ... i lived in stockholm for 4.5 years and loved every second there! :) anyway, you met the challenge. i really like the old weathered look of the wood, the metal of the window frames, and then the cozy contrast of the flowers in the window and the nice sign that hilding (name? noun? never heard that one) lives there. there's really nothing i can add to a nice photo :)

I like the character and hominess to this window. Very nicely done.

Fine rendition of the weathered wood. Nice composition with flowers in the right spot.

I love the old window and the texture of the wood. The items in the window add color but totally distracts from the image. JG

nice shot, even lighting, and good composition.. little room for improvement here... I would love to see this in black and white too...

I think this is a shot that would have benefitted from being perfectly in front of the window instead of just off to the side. Don't get me wrong -- I'm guessing you did so to try to avoid your reflection in the window which would have been still more distracting -- so other than some Photoshop work, maybe my suggestion is simply "impossible." With all that great wood, I think I might also have backed off a little, left the window the dominant feature in the shot, put it more or less in one corner, and added in some more good texture that would have helped even more to give the window a setting.

looks more like a fisherwoman's cabin but i like it.

Interesting pic. That's some heavy caulk sealing the panes in. Fist I thought this pic wasn't true to the horizon, but I'm seeing now it might be. Good capture of the very natural woodtones. Aged wood takes on a nice color and you've done a great job with it. - Inspzil
