Our community, despite being quite small, has a rather nice veterans memorial. It has around a half dozen granite slabs with names, a whole arrangements of flags, and a helicopter.
I had a shot I really liked that emphasized the chain more, but I was afraid it didn't show much of the actual sculpture. I also had the globe without the story, and a shot of the helicopter and MIA flag that I thought was also interesting. But in the end I thought my entry was more inline with the Monuments theme of the challenge.
