My portraits are pretty hit and miss, and this is a category in which I am not particularly good at predicting the score. For a Minimal editing challenge I was pretty happy with how this turned out. I thought the tones and technical aspects were pretty good, and I liked the tilted heads and general composition. I thought it would have fared better than mid-five (currently 5.58). I guess I still have a bit to learn about what makes a good portrait. That, or I am too close to this shot of my daughter and her dog so I can't recognize that this is a pretty mediocre shot.
