let me contribute my wild barbaric yawp: here is a photo that refuses to let photoish desiderata hold sway. yes, there is tons of sway, sway of light/reflections, water, reeds, but the photographer seems not to care at all for these particulars, not that they are out of focus; it is the dull silver sheen infesting this tangled mess that creates something entirely new, a feeling, a pulsing of something greater than a mere iteration of elements.
