Ok -- so this was a total fail. We were overcast for days, so really didn't have much hope of a natural flare so I tried to create one.

And failed.

And failed.

And failed yet again!

Got a couple of boring ones here and there. So decided to stick with this one.

It didn't reflect in the glass, simply because of the angle from which it was shot. I didn't want the light in the reflection, because it was too distracting. Just shooting from a lower vantage made it disappear. (It was either that or higher. Don't remember at this point. lower I think...) No cloning, no adjusting, just changing the vantage point.

Well -- at least I tried. Glad this one's not coming around again for awhile! :)

Mice image, but I am curious as to how this was done to not show the light in the reflection.
