 Opening lines from David Bowie's "Space Oddity".

My first composite expert editing submission.

It is a composite of 3 shots. Two of the astronaut and the spaceship and one of the Earth. The astronaut/spaceship shots are of the same framing but the focus is on the different elements.

The Earth photo is a photograph from a space encyclopedia. I literally took a photo of the page from the book.

The legality of the background is questionable, though.

I think you're right: the earth picture might have been a reason for complaints. But the idea and implementation are great, and I would have given a 7 - the same as I gave your final entry. The Lego person is a reason not to give higher votes - these are only a weak substitute for more realistic solutions.
