 Is smoke becoming boring? Not to me :-)

- Bottle from an air freshener. The one with sticks.
- Found the label on the Internet, adapted to the bottle dimensions and printed. Covered the printed label with candlewax drops, then peeled off the wax and glued to the bottle. This gave the label some vintage look.
- The bottle was filled with smoke through the help of a drinking straw and some cigarettes :-)

My only regret is not choosing the label more carefully. Or at least edit it a bit prior to printing. I just saw that the work "cologne" is quite prominent and it's too late to re-shoot the whole thing. It was not easy locating an authentic looking snake oil label that fits a tall and thin bottle. Most of the ones i found on the Internet were more or less square.

The scene was lit from the top and rotated slightly towards the camera, by a speedlite in a mini softbox (23x23cm). It's my new toy :-) There is another ligh from up front, low and camera left providing some fill. Speedlite with a gridded snoot.

I hope you like it. I made a mess of the exposure around the cork, i know. If i have the time, i will correct it.

this is just one of those captivating moments in photography.. the smoke makes this shot and it draws me into the photo. the lighting on this is even better with it concerntrating on the top of the bottle. One of my ribbon picks
