Do you use burst - that can help even with a still subject if you are hand holding. Often at least one will be in better focus as the camera itself settles in so to speak. Nice perspective and I love it when I know an animal has been having fun :) |

Nice shot of happy puppy. As others already mentioned; I would have also taken this shot with widest available aperture which will give shallow depth of field, and faster shutter speed. |

Beautiful BC. Those are fast dogs so you'll need a fast lens and shutter speed. Lovely image |

What a happy pup! Try and increase your shutter speed to at least 1/500. |

Cute dog with the ball (and the tongue)! A few blown out parts here on e.g. the legs, but a B&W dog is a very difficult target.
Looking at the EXIF I would try a lower aperture and a higher speed. |
