 Model: Elaine Hughes - my very talented artist friend. And her little buddy, Diddy.

And of course, the rule I broke was CLONING!!!!!!

When I last saw Elaine, her hair was really short, and would have been a breeze to get all spiky. As it was this long, it took a LOT of effort to get the spikes, and they needed some extra "populating".

I had a very tough time getting both Elaine and Diddy in focus, and in the end decided to emphasize the differing focal points rather than try to fix it.

And yeah, Diddy was SOOOOOOO cute.

Nice selective focus and a funny shot. I don't know what rule you broke. I would have replaced the background LOL

Tough call guessing on this one. Either the hands holding the porcupine were from another capture (if so, good job on it), or it might be outside the date range?

voted earlier... back to guess. I'll say the blue in the background is cloning out other unwieldy elements.

Cute. This made me smile. I'll guess the shallow DOF was added in PP and was the broken rule.
