 I shot this Octber 17th a couple of hours before midnight & rushed home to enter it in Night Shots II. I was miffed to see that the contest had closed 20 minutes earlier. I carefully checked out the site & saw no mention of the offical time being EST. So this was intended for that challenge. What a way to start egh?

Interesting shot with nice star effects. I think a slight rotate would have helped, to make the foreground lines appear straight (even if it's truer perspective this way). Also I'm not sure why the "distant" view is used here. I think the left and bottom could have bbeen cropped bringing him a bit closer, but I'm not sure if that affects your message, because I don't quite understand the photo.

I still need to learn how to make those nice stars from lights.
I't realy a centered composition. I think it could be more interesting with something else going on in the shot.
