Coming back for a second look. Your image reminds me a photo essay I viewed a while back title "Alone Together". The old timber house/barn and tree fit together so nicely. I like the choices you have made as far as point of view and composition. All that being said, the presentation seems a little flat IMO. This is most obvious in the door opening which doesn't seem to have enough contrast. maybe this is unavoidable because of the lighting. If this location is convenient, I'd go back and try at a different time. There is a lot of potential here but the tones and lighting seem a little off.
