 I spent the weekend in this beautiful town that was established in 1846. This area of Texas has a strong German influence that has endured from the days of the early Germanic settlers. The town was recently named one of the 6 most romantic small towns in America by CNN Travel.

This is a shot of the chapel. It was built in 1863. In 1906 a larger Church structure was completed next door.

The setting was in the early morning with all natural light coming through the church windows.
