This is one of my picks for front page honours. There are a few black spots on the water that could have been spot edited out but that is just quibbling. This is a great image.
Super technicals, the only thing that would improve this for me would be if it was a wider shot with a bit more space for the egret(?) to run in to. As it is, it feels slightly cramped.
Great capture of one of my favorite birds. Love how you froze the action (especially the eye) but you can see/feel the motion by the feathers in the neck. Wonderful job.
