Nope that's not an alligator at the zoo..... He was lurking about 6 foot from me. Not only was he playing waiting for my dinner, but he had a buddy that we didn't see until the fight broke out.
Yep I said fight we are sitting in a 14 person swamp boat about 5 foot wide doing a swamp tour in Louisiana, the tour guide spotted this guy and boated right up to him thinking it was yet another med sized gator..... Well did he ever whoops, not only is this cellar about 800+ lbs but his buddy is even bigger, so when we slithered up he moved and totally PO'd the other gator who was just below the duck weeds.... Gator two took a big ol lunge at #1 and the fight was on, got both of my cameras wet, even though I was standing on my bench holding to the top of the canopy. Of course I was holding my camera above my head and kept hitting the shutter release to catch the action, I got water is all sigh. But when gator 2 did a complete out of the water jump and flop sideways and then hit the boat and go under it then lifted the bottom of the boat, well every one screamed like a girl. Yours truly the loudest since I was sitting on Alley's sploosh n whack side ... It was one of the BEST DAYS EVER

Great story behind this, sounds like it was an amazing experience.

It's a good scene but I think it's a bit overexposed - usually for a mostly green scene some exposure compensation around -2/3 of a stop looks good.
Also, I wish his snout was fully included in the photo.
