 Eldest son had a night match for his Rec Plus team, and after a delayed start due to lightning and thunder, the game was played in the rain, which made for some interesting play and even more interesting photos.

not diggin the over exposed light its creating a really weird halo.

Even if all you had was a wide-angle lens, plenty of more interesting and visually appealing compositions could have been found here - it's a very compelling scene, and even the arrangement of the players on the field as they are looks good, but it's spoiled by the negative space and the blown-out blob of light.
