| Fabulously unfinished. We need (I mean the world, not just DPC) a lot more unfinished pictures. And a lot less finished pictures. Almost everything is happening outside your frame, and yet it's undeniably happening. It's a wonderful artistic impulse about withholding meaning, reduced right to the very edge of absurdity, and then pulled just a little bit back into the viewer's reach. I feel like a dog whose chain just permits him to lick the edge of his bowl, but won't quite allow him to reach the nourishing marrowbone jelly inside. Into my 7+ picks you go, and thank you. |
