In the late 80's there were lots of outdoor markets in the village in NYC, and I used to buy Russian propaganda t-shirts 2 for 20 bucks. The inspiration was no doubt the anti German WWII posters, which seemed to be in black and white with Red clothes colored in. This is my playful take on those posters.

I would have centered the photo more in the frame. The selective coloring to red matches the color scheme well, and the face she's making makes her look tough.
