Still playing with lighting.

I really wanted to do a coat on a stick. I was thinking about multiple coats on multiple sticks. Then I was thinking about a coat on a stick with a schooner sailing away in the background (there is a schooner out in Yorktown that does sunset cruises.)

Last day of challenge. My husband had been in Scotland without me for 8 days. He owed me a nice date. We talked about dinner and a photo shoot down my the schooner...

Great dinner idea!! The Melting Pot!!

4 course fondue dinner:
Cheese fondue appetizer (with two different types of bread, broccoli, cauliflower, apples, carrots)

Main course: orange marinated duck, filet, teriyaki steak, chicken, lobster tail, fondued in a Coq Au Vin broth.

Dessert - dark chocolate fondue with Baileys, strawberries, pound cake, rice crispies, bananas, cheesecake.

All small portions of each that you fondue at your table.

Definitely no time to do melting pot and get to the schooner on time.

Skip the schooner!! It's just a challenge. Melting pot only came around once before in 10 years!!

Kelly!! Oh play producer friend of mine! Do we have any crowns and kingly robes? Of course we do! Ummm... everything's locked up.

I collect birds for our Christmas tree. One gold, sparkly bird -- check!

Party City -- one cheap crown bought

One Ph.D. robe that my husband already owns.

We're set!!

Thanks for the comments. :)

Beautifully crafted and well suited to the theme. I can see that some thought went into this. One of my ribbon choices.

Nicely set up and executed, good literal way to represent one of the verses.

This has made one of my tops and I hope it gets good scores.

I really like the creativity on this and not one is like this and I was expecting to see a lot of dress up play kind of things like this.. I like that little gold bird on his hand and that makes the picture for me, makes him look like he is watching the moon from a window, the darkness goes up against the crown and his outfit very nicely.

Nicely done. I'd be surprised if this doesn't make top 5 !
