This was my only 10. I should have got my act together to comment and make an award.

I still gave you a 7, but I just feel like it might have been a posthumous blue... her shape and the shape of those pillars, a sublime capture.

I also almost commented on the frame, but FWIW, I have done it many times myself. Not sure it adds or takes away from this fine and intriguing image.

Love the shot, not fond of the framing. That was the first thing that struck me, was how confined it was. But perhaps that was intentional.

I thought that this was yours John and did not want to tell you (again) about the horizontal bars but since others mentioned i might want to challnege you to a photo where these lines would make sense.
Excellent photograph. I imagined that you travel since I doubt that this is a paysanne du Lot.

did you add vignette to this? if so, why would you do such a thing?

Captivating capture of contrast and ambiguity. Is she selling those pillers? I love the shot but the bars make it look like she is in a catacomb, especially combined with the vignetting. 8 for the shot if we can overlook the bars. I'll try. voted earlier anyway before lingering longer and becoming increasingly bothered

Beautiful tones and textures to balance the subtle connection to the subject.
