To let everyone one know. I like the shadow. I felt it gave it more depth. Thanks for the comments

First, I want to make this clear that this is my opinion and not necessarily that of anyone involved in the DPChallenge critiquing club. I knew when the challenge was put forth there would be a lot of stop action milk shots. So when I voted I could not share the excitement others may have gotten. Also, because of the amount of light needed to shot at a shutter speed high enough to stop the action, you had some very distracting shadows behind your image. These could have been eliminated by having an additional light at the side of your image. I noticed in your photography information that you N/A for shutter. Shutter speed is what this picture is all about and a major ingredient, especially if someone was trying to figure out "How did they do that?" On a positive note, you did achieve what you set out to do and you did comply with the challenge and it's rules. JG

You should try to get rid of that shadow behind the glass. And I would have chosen a different composition. The focus is good and the blue background works well. The picture is well exposed as well. Good job.

very nice shot. I'm new to digital and would be interested in how you did this. the capturing of the mild drops splattering around is terrific! Just curious, but is there anyway that you could have avoided the shadow in the background? And how did you get such a rich Blue background?

I like the blue background, it gives a great contrast.. but the lighting needs help... perhaps a different angle so we don't see the distracting shadow of the glass

The shape of this splash is interesting, but the lighting is too harsh. The dark shadow cast on the background undermines the photo. If it was just white against blue, it would have been nicer.

Nice job, I really like the flying milk and the background. I wonder how it would look a little more off-center?

Good stop motion. Next time you might want to place the subject away from the background to avoid getting distracting shadows. I hope you had fun eating your props. Good luck. Jacko.

Good capture and light. I think seeing the full glass would of helped this shot.

The splash actually looks like an (albino) bat.
