This is how the lighting was supposed to look, but the girl in back had an awkward pose and the one in front was too far inside the box. I used a tight crop here to avoid the corner of the room at left, but the result feels cramped.

The kids are much cuter in this one. and there expressions are more similar, which is important. Definitely better than the other.
