Great photo of a very cute little boy. Good lighting.

too much flash but a very nice set-up

seems like a basic snapshot with the background, but what a cute capture and child

Nice kid.
Background is distraction.

The anger, the torture, the absolute cuteness of that face! love it what a game face, 6 :)

Adorable little boy, but just too much of a "snapshot" feel to score well in my opinion.

Excellent BW, eyes really pop out GL

Good use of shallow depth of field. Exposure is right. The kid is certainly cute. But the picture feels like something is missing ... like maybe he needs to be put into context. For example, if this is a hockey stick, then perhaps putting him at the ice rink would finish the picture. Instead, it looks like a living room or something behind him... Good luck in the challenge.

What a wonderful expression. Sure makes this grammy want to squeeze him. The too-big hat is the perfect touch.

The focus is good and your subject is exceptional! I'm afraid the cluttered background may hurt your score. I like the b&w :)

looks like you used hard flash, a softer light would have worked better for this photo

The little fella looks a little shocked maybe you shouldn't have used such a bright flash! ;-) Would have gone with a little more contrast myself, but still a great shot for the family album!

5. It's a great pic and a great moment. Unfortunately, on-board camera flash has a way of flattening these pics and pulling away from the final product. It would be nice to see a non-flash version.
