When in Rome... so we're in the USA and it's the 4th of July so we just had to mark the occasion by spending it with the million or so others in the National Mall in Washington DC. Kids had a ball, and an appreciation of this aspect of American culture. Tick another box off on this adventure of ours.

I though including the ubiquitous cell phone was clever (though a bit of color shifting to make the image there and in the sky you have been to the good) and figured this would place much, much higher. An iconic shot with a twist.
