 A World Heritage Site, the UVA Rotunda was designed by Thomas Jefferson. It is currently undergoing a 42.5 million dollar renovation and is closed until Summer of 2016. An ugly black plywood fence currently surrounds it, so its overall beauty is caged for a couple of years.

This was taken at night, and is a HDR composition of four different exposures ranging from 20 to 35 seconds.

Pretty building. Image is a bit over processed. Notice the bluish halo/fringing at the edge of the dome. Also some noise in the tree at the right edge of the image.

What a beautiful place. And you have a nice photo here. I like the blue sky here and the grass is perfect. (If I remember, its about a 15 minute walk to Christains Pizza - the best in Virginia!)
