I went driving downtown hoping to find some interesting people. Luckily, I found this guy playing arabic drums for belly dancers in front of the downtown theater. I then asked him to pose for a couple of photos.

Very interesting subject, but I would have liked to have seen some kind of prop or setting to help me understand what he is about rather than just the non-descript and cold background. Skin tones look a bit too orangy/red.

Wonderful, exotic subject, a little too dark, perhaps, in the shadowed areas for all the intracate detail to be thoroughly enjoyed. The crop, especially, on top of the image is, unfortunately, intersecting part of the subject.

What counts is there, captured and delivered without much discernible technical attention to artistic potential. The subject's relaxed, cooperative pose contradicts the snapshot-like manner. A manner more considerately exposed and composed, IMO, would have matched the immense interest offered by the subject and, thus, would have made for a truly stunning capture, instead of a 'good' one.

Nice photo. Pose fits the subject, great color and focus and unobtrusive background.

Interesting. I really don't like the choice of background. This seems like a strange mix of elements. I guess that may be the message conveyed about the person, but things just don't seem to fit. The background and the glasses make me think of a business suit environment which is very much out of place with the rest of the elements of the photo. It leaves me feeling confused.

Wish his hair didn't touch the top. Cool background Did you try a polarizing filter to kill the glare on his skin?

Well there is definitely no question as to what defines this guy. I would have taken the picture without glasses and have him stare straight ahead at the camera.

This is a good defining feature, at last one that shows some thought.
The background is not so great, but Nice work

I think this could be inproved, by placing the subject to the left and make him look right.

Great photograph, great body art. I did find the blinds in the background, and seeing people on the other side of it, somewhat distracting. Maybe you could have had him stand in front of a solid color wall. Or changed the background in post processing. Well done in any event.
