After the challenge was announced, I immediately had this idea. Some new flowers are coming up for me, so I grabbed my macro lens, 31mm extension tube, and a flash.

The flash is camera right, on the same level as the plants, with a honeycomb filter, and gelled full CTO. I wanted to give the impression of very early morning sun shining on new growth for the first day.

I used 10 images here, stacked using Helicon Focus, to get the depth of field I wanted. Actually, I wanted to use more images in the series, but rules here limited me to 10.

Congratulations on the nice finish. The lighting on the plants is lovely, and nice work on the sharpness even with the 10 shot limitation. The one little green guy, right at the front, was a bit distracting - but overall nice work.
