This has been my biggest editing project to date. My admiration for 21.gif Gyaban is 10 fold...The work that I put into this was .... WOW!!! And all I did was a "simple facial portrait"

Oh, and there are mistakes if you really look...but I'm really hoping everyone has one blue colored lens for this challenge!!!

The body and hair is my friend Susan who I work with. She is our receptionist at Moriah Brandons'. She was soooo willing to help me out. We had to do 2 days of shooting to get it right...figured out that masking around hair isn't easy!!!

The chubby face that has been "shrunk down considerably" is mine (at least I've found a way to "shrink me"....lol. And the black shirt is mine from yet another shot.

I had to print out the tattoo mask and photograph that.

This was my first version before the tattoo's and sparkles, this was when I realized that I had to re-shoot Susan because of the hair and face blending issues...

And the final version...if I had more time I would have tweaked a few more areas or even re-shot one more time...lol (Don't tell Susan!!!)

The title for this is the joining of our names - Janine & Susan = J A S A N

My Friend Debbie did my makeup for this, she does professional makeup. We had a blast doing this!!! Now, Rick (husband) on the other hand wanted to know what had crawled up on my face (eyelashes). I told him the eyebrows were tattooed on...wink

Wonderfully dreamed about and realized .. so much detail in the face and I like the bland b/g - it makes the face pop .. nicely done!!

There's obviously a lot of work put into this - great ideas. She has very pretty green eyes and the textures are wonderful

Nice concept, but why oh why did you keep the icky green/grey painted wall behind you? Looks like a mug shot right now ... if you replaced the background with a sky or some other background (easy to do), it would've popped so much more.

IF the background wasn't a stucco wall, and was instead a forest scene, I would vote this much higher.

not original and boring to look at. an interesting pose with a similar "avatar" look would have been nice.
