 Not entirely happy with the (early limited) edit and no time to work more on it. Just back from a 2500km wildlife photography round trip...and I've had it...

This is no doubt more the WOW that DPC will look for, add a fake vignette and do some more cleaning up.
It was a very challenging capture, the little Half Coloured Kingfisher is 9 gramms in body weight and TINY. Photography is very technical with this bird and it is very rare to find in the wild as this was.

Most (not all) here on DPC have the knowledge or appreciation of such things. So it's shelved.

Soo close to perfect. I do like the angle a lot. I have chased after them here on my property, to no avail.
