 No inspiration, no exciting wildlife around, no long lens... I decided to go unorthodox on this one. Let's see how the DPC crowd reacts to these kind of things. I'm submitting it for the comments :-)

I was about to pass submitting on Wildlife, but my son, hours before rollover, looked at the "Peacock" images and urged me to submit.

ND and flash on a bright day. Cloudy but bright.
No need to say that the processing was done in a hurry and it's flawed in many ways.

At least you aren't trying to pretend this is something it isn't! A pretty amazing floral display, although it does look like a strong wind would topple it over. Gave me a smile.
