I think Common Eider too, Sibley's has a good picture that matches well. |

I agree with KarenNfld. After looking up her flock of common eiders, I see their face and bill are just like this.

I'm wondering if it could be a Common Eider? I checked and they might make it as far south as you in the winter. It could be a male in eclipse plumage or a 1st winter male. |
