I sure didn't. Another photographer scared it off trying to sneak up on it right after I took this one, didn't get a good look at it after. |

Could be a Ferruginous. Did you see the bird from the front? Could be a rough-legged hawk, but I think those have mostly left on migration North. |

This one was really big though, too big for a Swainson I think (and early). I struggle with Hawk's though. If not an Osprey for the size, a Ferruginous? This was at Walden Ponds in Boulder. |

Not an osprey. Not a red-tailed hawk. My best guess is Swainson's Hawk, Buteo swainsoni. |
